Philly is not a soccer town. For every 1 USMNT fan, there are 100-200 fans of a European or South American team.
If somehow Hell Froze Over and every other team dropped out of the World Cup making the USMNT the winner, Local bars probably would have celebrations, but city parades definitely not.
In 2014, Leicester City won the Championship, was promoted to the Premier League and finished 14th. The following season Leicester City, won the Premier League.
Honestly, I think that was significantly, significantly less likely to happen than the US winning this world cup.
I mean literally, right now the US on biased US betting sites are 80/1, when Leicester City won the Premier League they were like 10,000/1 and it should have really been like 50,000/1. Really fucking unlikely shit happens sometimes.
