She is literally the worst choice. I can see it now, lots of speaking out about unacceptable shootings are, and throwing more money at “anti-violence” groups with zero accountability.

Police consisted $729M of the $5.8B city budget last year. With that level of investment we need better results, and throwing more money at them won't help. I don't have a direct solution but clearly our current "anti-violence group" isn't doing shit

She’s gonna fight against gun ownership inequity and make sure everyone gets one.

If that were true, id vote for her
What’s actually going to happen is she will further restrict the rights of law abiding citizens, creating soft targets for all the criminals. Good luck lady

So true. There’s no correlation between our country having more civilian-owned guns than citizens, and our incredibly high rate of gun violence compared to all other high income countries. We need to get more guns on the streets fast if we want less gun violence, it’s just common sense really.

Yeah haha I’ll happily voluntarily disarm myself as soon as the gangsters and the secret service do the same. I’m not an ammosexual, if all guns evaporated tomorrow, I wouldn’t be upset and violent murders would go down everywhere. However, that’s not realistic, and if you think it is, you’re deluded. Gun laws just create a soft target

She is one of the politicians who think that they are doing a great job and nothing is wrong with the city. She will be worse than the current mayor in my opinion.

A pledge is just empty words. Why doesn't she outline a plan?

How, exactly?
