Got it. He is terrible. He tried doing the shine one shoe for free hustle. Didn’t clean my boot first. I ended up having him finish the job. But stripped them down and shined them up proper

He’s way too pushy. He wanted to shine my shoes one time, but they were cloth, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. The first time, he did hustle me and it was such a bad shine.

I used to be a shoeshine/Bootblack I recognized his hustle a mile away. I also told him if I saw him don’t the hustle I’d Uber home grab my shoe box and set up next to him and give free shines. Moving with him.
