Agreed. The worst is when the bus drivers just cover their working machines and tell people to go through.

All it does is show data to Septa leadership that ridership is low on that particular route and then it results in a reduced schedule. People love the free $2 ride in the moment but don't think about the long-term effects.

Also, Septa really needs to allow multiple uses on the key cards or just accept credit card taps as fare payment because nothing is worse than using those slow machines to buy/load your card while a train is coming.
