You have to love this thing only came out becuase one of the scammers tried to file a civil action for a bigger share of the fraud money.

That's like calling the cops on your drug dealer for selling you weak stuff lol

It’s a great story. I think it would make a great coen brothers movie, like Fargo. If the go fund me didn’t get picked up by local and national media they probably would have make a couple of thousand dollars and gotten away with it.

It's incredible how fast they blew through the money. The scam started on Nov 10, 2017. They themselves had about 300k net. By March 2018, they were in the red and had to collateralize that BMW they bought.

edit. it was about 300k net, not 200

She’ll probably set up an OnlyFans to make ends meet after she gets out. And dumbasses will pay her legitimately for her services. She can probably even charge extra because she has notoriety from the scheme, at least in the Philly area.

It makes me wonder if Gofundme pushed for a harsh sentence.

That doesn't even make any sense. It's in the best interest of Gofundme if people believe that their platform is used for good and that people who misuse it will be punished.
