  1. Move to Iceland and receive citizenship.
  2. Become fluent in Icelandic.
  3. Learn all the many skills you will need to operate and maintain the lighthouse.
  4. Be okay with being completely isolated from friends, family, and society while you prepare to live on a rock in the ocean.
  5. Bring about a tragic and unfortunate accident to the current lighthouse keeper and make sure you're next in line for the job.
