She’s 11 years old. She could have warned me.
I’ve bitten in it once and immediately understood exactly why she must have stopped after her single bite.
P.S. It’s unnice

Ok. I still have lots to learn.
I wanted to put out the pumpkin she’s carved. I was almost crucified because she wants to do it. Tomorrow. Even though she’s at school tomorrow.
I was allowed to prepare the areas for the three pumpkins.
Sigh… it’s only a few hours until Halloween - what can my two daughters have against my actions?!
“Daddy, they will get mouldy if you put them out too early!” - Wtf? Halloween is in a few hours and only lasts a day.
What is it that I’m missing?
I even suggested they can light the candles when back from school.
Double sigh…

Well I can give you lessons. The biggest thing I can tell you if it’s not to late is to give the reason why you’re suggesting doing something a certain way as opposed to just stating you want them to do something……girls are not easy I raised two ….the trying years are coming ….just remember they are going through a tremendous change and some days will lash out for know reason your job is to not lash back but have understanding and compassion.
