i don't think that food exists for that reason. it probably exists so owners can add fresh meat. or it exists for common dietary issues in dogs

There are minimal levels of nutrition pet foods need to meet for calories, protein, fats, etc. So long as the food meets those levels, they can call it nutritionally complete no matter what the sources of those values come from.

most likely yes. fresh meat is a lot better for dogs than the stuff in kibble
