Sent one to Colorado Springs in December for xmas. Arrived with dry ice and everything separate. They have to build the sandwich but said it tasted just like it's supposed to
I received one in Texas about 6 years ago. It arrives in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice - well packed. You heat up the meats and stuff and then combine everything into the sandwich. It was pretty great - not quite the quality of a sandwich you'd get at a Primanis restaurant but pretty damn close. It's a wonderful taste of home for the Pittsburgh ex-pat
I got one way back when it started (2016?) and loved it. I was also very homesick. I think it 'combats' many of the complaints people have about it tbh.
Idk how they do it, but primantis is almost a bargain compared to all the other brick and mortar sandwich shops around the east end. I think it’s like $9 for a regular compared to everyone else’s $12-15

One kit made it to California
Seems okay, but it was also a promo of sorts, so who knows.
