Use to buy bottled Water. But a few months ago we bought a Britta pitcher and enough filters to last a decade. We like that much better than lugging around plastic bottles and we also don't have as much plastic waste.

I get it. And I have a Britta pitcher in the fridge. The problem is even after I run my tap water through it it still smells and tastes like shit.

You should get you water tested and the results will let you know what kind of filters you need.
