i had covid this past week and it seriously kicked my ass. i couldn’t keep any food down, had a consistently high-grade 102-104 fever that wouldn’t break, and had aches worse than when I had mono back in middle school. i was doing all the right things you do when you are sick, but for some reason food wouldn’t stay down.

on a whim, I got their pho ga today as takeout (somebody picked it up for me) and it seriously revived me and was the only thing I’ve been able to keep down in days. I tried all different broths, every at home remedy you can think of, but their pho saved me. go support them, give em’ business, they make some serious soul-reviving, nourishing, amazing pho.

I'm convinced spicy Asian noodle soups are a magical remedy for most ailments, body and soul alike.

I had almost the same experience a number of years ago when I got swine flu real bad. 103+ degree fever, barely left my bed for days, blinding headache, aches and chills constantly, couldn't eat anything. My wife then got me a pipping hot bowl of spicy pho and within minutes The snot started flowing, my breathing opened up and I started feeling better.

Both are great and family run Pho Minh IMO has better pho Trams has better everything else especially fresh rolls but basically can't go wrong just go to both

The hot tea at Pho Minh, if it hasn’t changed in the last 10+ years, is phenomenal.

How is Trams doing? I went there from the time I was 11 until I was probably 27 but good food poisoning twice and just couldn’t keep going. When it was good it was the best in the city imo.

Trams is pretty busy every time I go, about once a month. Seems they’re doing well.
