I've heard very good things about flying with Alaska

Yeah, I fly between Pittsburgh and Seattle pretty frequently. Alaska is the only airline that has a direct flight. They also have decent leg space in most rows, and good service. Haven’t had a bad experience with Alaska yet

The leg space sounds wonderful. I did a flight from Vegas to back here non-stop a few weeks ago, and it was a little cramped.

When I lived in Seattle, I had to fly to Portland then take a tiny prop plane to Seattle. I'm glad they have a direct flight now!
...Now I live in MN and I'm SOL for direct flights under $400.

I recently flew Alaska for the first time and was surprised at how much leg room there was in just basic economy. Pretty solid to fly across country with more space.

Good to know. Friends kid is due in January so I was going to head out there for a few days.

I make annual trips to Seattle and I always take Alaska. Never had an issue with them, and their staff is far more friendlier than others.

Only times for us was between Chicago and Anchorage. Seemed fine. Was like 7 years ago, so the memory is a little fuzzy.
