Not sure what side of Ohio you're looking. I'm a Western PA guy but have played about 15 OH courses

You can stay around Canton and play a good number b of courses if you want quantity. Nothing there is say Maple Hill quality but Punderson and The Grassman are both excellent courses in that vicinity.

You want a good trip consider Ashtabula. Course is good but the park is beautiful and on the lake. You can stay at Geneva on the Lake which is a destination spot
