That Walmart got so much ire from the locals when it went in. Everyone I grew up around liked to say that as soon as it went in crime a the mall went straight up. We'll see how things go now that it'll be gone.

The narrative will probably flip back to it being a bussing problem.

I remember not everyone was thrilled in that area about a Walmart being next door when it opened.
