This is probably a scam.
Though how I use venomo I could see how the scam would work. I get money into venmo via credit card - which I can't fund to my account directly, but I can send money to others that way. So when I need money in my account I send a family member money ( which gets funded by my credit card ) and ask them to send it back. So I'm guessing they're doing a similar process just with a stolen credit card.
