Will kennywood close if it snows? We're supposed to go see the lights friday and I'm worried it'll snow enough for them to close. Anyone have experience with this?

Last year I went and there was a snow squall. My guess is as long as the roads are fine, they’ll be open. They need the money.

To clarify, seems like this is more due to the extreme cold than any potential snow accumulation.

That and the wind chill is going to be dangerous. Wind chill watch talks about possible frostbite if skin is exposed so probably liability reasons as well.

It won’t snow enough for them to close. Only way it would close is if employees can’t get in and there is very little to no chance of that this Friday.
