The heat in my house is not working properly. It's just blowing cold air. We've done some troubleshooting but need to call someone as it's 48 degrees in out house currently.
Looking for suggestions on who to call that isn't going to charge me an arm an leg on a sunday?

Yes we replaced the filter a few days ago.
It was installed in 2008. Bought the house almost a year ago.
That's definitely a silly thing to say cause a dirty filter doesn't have any impact on it blowing cold air, like at all.

Yes actually I am, and a dirty filter does nothing but restrict air flow which unless OP dipped their filter in concrete, isn't restricting air flow enough to cause the type of problems OP is having.
If OPs furnace is blowing cold air, he has air flow. What OP doesn't have is heat exchange which means there's probably something wrong with the source of heat, be that be gas, electric, or heat pump.
Bottom line is OP needs to call a professional and not take advice from people on the Internet who have no clue what they're talking about. Especially because it's winter.

If you haven’t already, look for blinking lights. The pattern will indicate a specific error codes, which are probably printed inside the front panel. There are one or two reset switches you can try, to reset it.
This is a safety feature, so wouldn’t go much further if the reset doesn’t work. If it does work I’d still have it looked at during the week.

If it's gas powered have you checked the igniter coil?
We believe it's the igniter. It has lights that flash and it's showing electrical issue.
You could likely be able to repair that part yourself if you can take that piece off and get the model number, you could probably get the replacement part and install it yourself.
I'd suggest getting the part even if your uncomfortable with replacing it yourself before contacting a HVAC tech that would have to do the same but have charged you for showing up just to get the model to order the part and then coming back in however long to install it.
I've done replacements like that before and it's not hard, but I stay away from dealing with replacing any of the like "gas line" parts for obvious reasons.
It’s mentioned down thread, but check the LED code on the motherboard and see what the furnace is trying to tell you. Kill the circuit, clean the igniter and check the intake and exhaust for blocks - sounds like it could be a gas supply or ignition problem if the blower is still running.
It seems dumb, but sometimes turning it off and turning it on again resets the furnace and thermostat - definitely make sure thermostat has power/batteries, etc also.
We restarted it yesterday and it didn't help as well as replaced batteries. Thankfully our hot water still works so shouldn't be gas issue.
The led code is showing the igniter and we cleaned around it. Hoping it's just old and needs replaced. We have a company on the way out now. Unfortunately there is a $125 fee since it's Sunday but it's 48 in the house. The joys of being a home owner.
If you were renting then the landlord may wait until Monday when it's cheaper.
If they have to order a part or something, pop over to Walmart or whatever is close and buy some inexpensive ceramic space heaters to get you through, at least in your bedroom.
The good news is, it's only getting down to 31 tonight so your pipes should be OK.
Igniters are like 10 bucks, and all you need is a screwdriver. You do you, but I'd go buy a space heater at Walmart and then find the igniter tomorrow and swap it out and then worry about calling a tech if that doesn't work

Silly stuff first. Did you check the filter? Next if it’s around 20 yrs old just get a new one. Last I always use Craft heating and cooling. Honest and reliable.
