It's a place to Live, Worship, and Shop, according to their sign on 65.

Very safe, low crime, really nice Main Street area with lots of amenities. Close to the city and also shopping in the burbs. Lots of old houses which are beautiful but can come with “old house problems” such as poor heating/cooling efficiency and need for repairs/upkeep. Lots of the apartments are old houses split into duplexes and triplexes so you may run into that if you’re looking for a place to rent.

If you have kids (or plan to) be aware that the school district offers no buses or transportation and you’ll be responsible for getting the kids to school on your own.

It's fine. There's some sketch stuff that occasionally happens but that's bound to happen in any dense area. It's relatively walkable. Some areas don't require a car.

I will say, sirens are constant and aggressive. Someone lights a fucking match and every fire engine from everyone of the boroughs shows up and it's a total scene for an hour and a half. No clue why they do this.

It's otherwise fine.

My wife and I love it. Low crime, everything is walkable on main Street, close to the city, our rent is affordable.

I like it. Fairly walkable in most parts of the borough, costs aren't extreme, there's an express bus to get Downtown if you have a 9:00 to 5:00 job down there, and drive times to many other places are relatively quick

I moved to Bellevue about 6 months ago and have been loving it. There are plenty of walkable amenities and I make it to most places around the city in less than 20 minutes by car.

The only real complaint I have is the night life scene is kind of lacking. There are a plenty options to eat but not a lot of places stay open past 11pm.

I agree. I moved out here just before I turned 28, and at that point I was losing interest in spending weekends at the bar until 2:00 AM, so it being quiet over here wasn't too big of an issue for me, but it's not the best place if you're a sociable 25-year-old looking to go out and not have to deal with getting a DD or an Uber..

Kind of a hot bed for registered sex offenders, but maybe that’s a selling point idk

Parentless children run rampant in the streets. There are more pizza shops than people. Other than that? It's whatever.

If you have a dog it's an awesome place to walk. It's reasonably priced as far as rent and it's close enough to the city without having to pay 1% of your income. Crime is so so. Lots of car accidents on 65 adjacent to bellevue. Food is decent for takeout.
