L'Amour Salon on Broad is a great Dominican hair salon that is very inclusive. They know curly hair and they also have at least one LGBTQ hair professional/barber.

Do they do typical male haircuts like fades?

They have both hairdressers and barbers, so I'd say yes.

You could check out Urban Fellow. I haven't been (but my partner w/curly-wavy hair has) and it sounds like it'd give you a barbershop environment but with some gender diversity in both who is cutting hair and who is getting their hair cut.

Reach out to them via phone, they usually can get you in on a few days notice, been going since their Warwick days and Seth, Eddie or Chris can get you right 🤘🏻

I have been to Urban Fellow a few times and they are great. Very friendly, and one of the stylists has very curly hair!

Hair Lab in Fox Point. I’m a customer there, and no one there is going to judge you there for being trans or harass you. They do walk-in’s and appt’s.

Christiaan Salon on Benefit Street. No judgement, staff is good with curly hair and men's cuts.
