John is one of the most genuine, informed, reasonable, and considerate people I know. I trust him completely. Politicians like that are rare. I have no idea if he can win this race, but I hope people read up on his background and policies and pay attention to him.

I'm not in CD1 but I once contacted him about a downtown issue and he was very responsive.
