There shouldn't be. I've gone through realtors several times and the LL have always paid the brokers fees. Additionally, in RI you can only charge 2 months rent up front, so I don't see Broker's fees being legal for the tenant.

I should have been more specific. There isn’t a fee to look at listings on a realtor website, but if you want a realtor to spend time looking for a place for you then it will cost you.
