On some level the parking enforcement is a little random, but I think when they're able to tag a bunch of cars on the same block, they're probably going to make a point to go back to the same streeet/block.

Also possible, there's people living there complaining. I parked on the street for months with no problem in front of my first apartment and on the flip side, every time I went to one friend's house and parked on his street every single time.

See we've been parking in the same spots for months so that's why the double Nighy was so weird for me

Yep, definitely had that happen too. Like someone else said, someone could be complaining or it could be they just randomly got a few hits on one street and decided to come back and see if people were playing the odds.

If this was the last 2 nights, I'd expect them again tonight.

As we get closer to more major snow youll see an upwards trend of tickets. Presumably its so people get the message before they have plows unable to clear roads.
