It’s not legal to buy in DC or VA unless you have a medical card.

I love this sub, give an honest and correct answer and get downvoted.

Everyone is so hurt by the idea that selling Cannabis in DC is illegal. Even the “gifting” shops aren’t legal. Why do you think they move around and change names? Because they’re legally operating businesses?

Stoners are such easy suckers.

NYC didn’t have any legal stores either until a few weeks ago. That doesn’t mean you couldn’t buy it.

It’s also not a legal or regulated market. There’s a loophole which means it’s not going away.

Operators won’t get busted like the owner of Happy Trees in DC for running the same scheme.

Lots of what operators are doing in Va isn’t legal (like selling seeds which Happy Trees started doing at their store front recently).

I mean just goto g leaf and get a med card at g leaf. The have to have a person on site there do to law changes. Or just learn to grow your own it’s better than most of the stuff in the dispo

I've literally received obvious weed deliveries RIGHT in front of cops. When something like that is the case, "legal versus illegal" feels like a purely semantic argument, thus masturbatory nonsense.

Not really, but with a caveat. I did a lot of pricing research on the respective "gray markets" of both areas before I started growing my own. DC is the easiest market to get decent bulk pricing without having to look too hard. Richmond, for that sort of pricing, you need an in at one of the more established gray markets here. It can be tough to score an in for obvious reasons.

I don’t smoke, but surely there’s no weed in this planet good enough to sit through that traffic
