I was going to post that we went to Metzger’s and had the worst meal we’ve had in a long time - we’ve been there in the past and loved it. But after this we will never go back.

Started with the house red - meh Shared two starters sweet potatoes were barely cooked through enough to eat and the cashew tahini had zero flavor to it.. Radicchio Salad was good but was so salty that the salt lasted with me all night as if I’d been to Texas de Brazil and only eaten the meat….

We split the hanger steak as an entree - it was WAYYY under cooked, I like rare but we ordered medium for my girlfriend and it was more rare than even I would like. It was tough to cut with a steak knife it was so rare. Cassoulet beans were the best flavor all night but there was maybe 1 fork worth of it for each of us. The chard alliums were beyond bitter and beyond charred. And the portion was horrible.

All this pleasure for $100 before tip without even ordering 2 entrees. There wasn’t 1 dish prepared in a way we’d want to eat it again.
