If the dog had died from abuse or some other form of neglect and torture there would be uproar. But an elderly woman was attacked and died and not even a misdemeanor charge??

This. And I am sick to death of it, because it's completely avoidable if people stop thinking they're above the law and that their slight convenience is more important than other peoples' lives.

And because when it happens every day all over the world, it's not a "freak accident."
