Fun Experiences in RVA

I’m buying a house in Richmond with my fiancé in December (yay!). For Christmas, my family wants to get something for me, not for the house.

What are some cool experiences/events to do in the area? I plan to ask for tickets for the experience/event. We are in our late-20s with no kids.

Bonus if it’s unique to Richmond. I’m excited to get to know my new city!

I highly recommend getting a Slurpee at 7-11, drinking some of it and then filling it with the rest of the way with vodka while throwing rocks in the river

Richmond Kickers games (in season) at City Stadium are highly underrated. Cheap tickets, good beer, good atmosphere, and definitely sit in the soccer hooligan section. You’re welcome.

Tacky light tour! You can rent a bus/limo or even do the RVA Tuk Tuk tacky light tour - a very Richmond experience!
