There’s a goddamn Wawa like a mile down the road. I do not get it.

Their main issues are 1. Traffic at that intersection already sort of being a mess and 2. Sheetz taking up all the parking for Natalie’s/Galley, etc

Traffic has been a mess there since 1994 when the Food Lion opened. And the parcel it’s going on is empty. It’s not exactly forcing out anyone.

In my opinion the new light they put in earlier this year has made things much more congested. But yeah, fair point it’s been empty for a while, and even when Benny’s was super popular there it was never that crowded

In my opinion/experience, getting out of the Granite Hill neighborhood before that light went in was gambling with your life. People fly thru the Food Lion intersection, so making a left out at that intersection at Melbourne was a blind crapshoot.

Where is Sheetz going? I lived off Cherokee back when Martin's and that old smokefilled steakhouse was still around. Was a while ago.

Galley and Natalie's don't take much parking.

Rock Falls during a blind draw night? That could be a real issue.

The one going up on Broad replacing the Arby's is about 3/4 mile away from the one on Staples Mill, as the crow flies anyway. But they're both major thoroughfares so I guess their stats people know what they are doing.

Oh man, how did I forget about that thread? That Sheetz is going to ruin the artisanal small batch vibe of the surrounding Food Lion, McDonald’s, etc.

Maybe they are just really dedicated 7/11 people.

I subscribe to the theory that the 7/11 owner is behind a majority of the hubaloo
