I don’t post often, but I am Hoping someone might have some answers to where to digitize taped voice recordings?

The issue is the tapes are about 20 years old and my partner (they’re recordings left behind by his late mother recently found by his aunt) is nervous the process might destroy the tapes and then he’ll have nothing.

I’d really like to preserve these as a surprise late Christmas, but I have no idea where to ask/look into. TIA!
