Have you gone to the men's shelter at United Nations Church? That is free and city funded, although I cannot speak to favorites.

I know it's a long shot, they have been turning people away because of lack of space.

Try a few Churches as well. The one at stewart and franklin is welcoming. They all should be, but that is a different story.

If you talk about suicide and get into a hospital, you can abuse the system to get warm. People do it all the time. Not saying it's right, but its a loophole.

People generally are not to found of homeless here despite calls to the politicians to do something about it. Especially those they see around regularly.
