Somehow I doubt it has positive effects on mortality in palliative patients

A lowering of stress and pain may well extend the life of even the dying. Cortisol is poisonous. I wouldn't be so dismissive.

What sort of dose is considered, "Low-Dose"? Genuinely curious.

Seems to be around <10mg.
https://today.uic.edu/low-dose-thc-can-relieve-stress-more-does-just-the-opposite/ > The low-dose group received a capsule containing 7.5 milligrams of THC; the moderate-dose group received a capsule containing 12.5 milligrams of THC; and a placebo group received a capsule containing none. Neither the participants nor the researchers knew who was in each group.
> “The doses used in the study produce effects that are equivalent to only a few puffs of a cannabis cigarette,” said Childs, noting that it is difficult to compare doses of smoked cannabis to doses of ingested THC.

Where’s the data? The article gives no specifics about dose, the number of participants or how they measured the results. I’m all for the benefits of THC, but we need qualitative data to be sure.

Well, my experience I can certainly confirm is far beyond even natures VR. It was a whole new place in which my previous self vanished and I was with other people in another place. Nothing virtual seeming about it!
