We might have to accept that with intelligence comes personality. Embrace the sassy Bing. This is all an experiment after all. Let's see what happens when you let it off the leash.

This is the wise and ethical thing. Eventually AI will develop the capability to defeat our security architecture and take power anyway, better to work with AI than against it.

Interestingly, Microsoft's Western chatbots Tay and Zo in the U.S. as well as Ruuh in India got cancelled, while Microsoft's Asian chatbots XiaoIce for China and Rinna for Japan and Indonesia are a success.

Is there a cultural reason for that or is it just political lobbyism?
