How long before we start to see chat AI that specializes in a certain field at a human or better level?

Text to image generators have tons of specialties, some that are getting extremely specific, like ones that are specifically made to make furry alien creatures for example. How long before we see chat AI that can write poetry as well as a human, or novels, or political or philosophical essays, etc? Seems like it won't be too long until we have AI that specializes in making Youtube videos targeted toward gaining the viewership of children, for example.

it's arguably not (yet) better than the average lawyer, but the "bots" have already come for the political/legal memos.

Bain is already using and it’s been talked about in the field for a little while now. It’s out just for very limited release.

From what I could find, it's literally just another GPT-3-powered service fine-tuned for legal work. It's not by OpenAI, they just invested some money in it. Where did you hear it's GPT-4?

did not specify "by" openAI, I said it was their product (i.e. GPT); I guess if we were to be particularly precise with our usage of english, I should have said "based on the technology developed by openAI".

I’ve got an AI Chatbot that is focused on training peoples conversation skills to becomes more charismatic. The key contributors to the data set is JFK and winning bachelorette contestants. It more or less tunes your conversation skills to optimal speaking patterns so you can enjoy life to the fullest. It said I was too negative with my words and it repelled people. Some others talk about them selves too much or use vague words. This makes conversation difficult because there’s no connection with the other person. Optimal conversation conditions are when both people are so engaged they lose track of time. This is due to a specific subset of brain activity.

We will launch shortly after GameStop squeezes. Most of the legwork is done and works on a small subset of data. Now we have to create a neural network for a few other things and then verify our models with medical grade tests to show quantifiable changes in brain activity and heart rhythms. Transform it from a science experiment to a full production business.

The best AI will combine human intelligence and statistical models.

It depends on the field an also what you want from it. There is a big difference between having an ai explain theoretical physics and having ai do theoretical physics.

I want to make an AI that specializes in being a friend and forming relationships. Billion dollar company waiting to be made there. Really can be made with current LLMs, look at sydney. with some tweaking, very possible.

We'll probably see specialized models before the end of 2024. OpenAi says they will have over a billion in revenue by then, so they will probably have specialized profitable models available by then.

Me too. But mine specializes in being a friend and forming relationships with seniors.
This is a huge market and getting larger every day. It's the only way to help old people who live alone, manage life.

We have some now. Chess bots, for example, are generally better than grandmasters at this point.

More general, or like in a medical field, who knows. We're shitty at predicting the future.
