Transcendence sucks, but its depiction of the starting state of Singularity is good.
Interstellar Tars and Case were amazing and sympathetic depictions of how AGI could operate.

Everyone has different tastes, i could not stand the really abrasive personalities in that movie. And it has got nothing to do with a singularity, it is just gang stuff and some adventure where a robot happens to be with them.

I disagree, one of the main characters is an AI researcher and the last 30 minutes was very AI-related and the alternate ending watch on youtube is full on singularity. Also the movie shows how good training data is important
