I'm not trying to get into a discussion about the exact timeline but even the most conservative estimates I've seen are pointing to this possibly happening by 2045-2050 at the latest.

The universe came into being 13.8 BILLION years ago. Our monkey brains can maybe grasp the concept of that number but relative to what we usually perceive as time in the limited scope of our short lifespans, 13.8 billion years is almost unfathomable. Even taking things down a notch from a cosmic scale, Earth ALONE has been around for 4.5 billion years.

If you live to see humanity's greatest achievement...whether it ends in salvation or ruin, can you begin to even comprehend how stupidly lucky you are? Of all the countless centuries to have been born, of all the different animals you could've been, of all the ways you might not have existed at all. And yet here you are. At the cusp of witnessing the ultimate jump from simplicity to complexity: evolution's ultimate goal.

How does this prospect make you feel?
