I just join r/artificialintelligence, but are there any others you’d recommend based on enjoying r/singularity?

The real deal.
/r/machinelearning
r/Futurism > Futurology For some reason Futurology consensus seems to be anti-tech
That is kinda.. odd
r/futurology r/agi r/controlproblem
r/futurology is hit or miss, and usually feels more miss than hit. There’s a big Luddite population, and too many “didn’t we learn anything from science fiction movies” comments.
So accurate. That sub really annoys me sometimes with those skynet comments.

The obvious one: r/transhumanism
/r/AR_MR_XR
Why can I not view r/artificialintelligence?
Because oddly enough, the sub name is spelled incorrectly.
r/artificialinteligence
Lol great start hahaha

Ironic
That’s delicious (or should I say dellicious) irony indeed :)
Let’s create the community with the correct spelling?
You can’t because the name would be 1 character too long. That is likely why they dropped the second L.
Wow I forgot about that. Makes sense
How inteligent of them.
r/Transhuman

But that's just statistics based on the average user, and no real user is 100% "the average user". Me, for example, is staying away from economics and politics.
/r/FuturistParty but it hasn't been active in years. Could do for a resurgence if any of you would like to try.
We could contact the mod and see if we can take over. Would be a great name with a lot of potential to develop into a thriving community alongside r/singularity, don't you think?

Private?
It is, but also fairly easy to join on request and I would say it's very much worth the extra effort.
But how do you request? There doesn’t seem to be an option
You have to dm reddit user 'starspawn0' who owns that subreddit a request to join in. Once you get approved, you should be able to see everything as normal.
Because...?
I view it as a more tightly honed version of /r/singularity with higher quality discussions and article submissions.
