Elon is only a single piece of the puzzle. You don’t dismiss a whole team because you have issues with one individual.

Fair point. I just don’t like the control/sway he has. Almost like Facebook becoming Meta. I don’t want them to become the face of the Metaverse with Zuckerberg’s greed running things

He's prioritizing a very well aligned incentive structure. Even if just in principle by talking about it. Meta guarantees a business model that works against your interests as a consumer.
