As a solo founder working on an early stage idea, I really value alternative voices to challenge my logic. But they aren't always available in real time! Until now.. chatGPT by OpenAI has been my co-worker all morning.

It's such an exciting step forward!

For example, the concept I'm working on relies heavily on gaming data. Data isn't always the sexiest concept to articulate, so I have been using some analogies to get the concept across. This morning I asked ChatGPT for some alternative analogies and to rationalise them.

"Whats a good analogy for using your existing game history as a means to unlock rewards?"

I then went further and asked about any cultural nuances and pitfalls to using these analogies...

Whilst in its early state the answers may not be a substitute for a real subject matter expect, they were helpful!

I was having a work conversation with something very well reasoned and structured in their response. In its present state, IMO chatGPT is ready to join the workforce as a valuable everyday tool.

I've seen that it's pretty good at writing unit tests, building a class or a method or even get useful tips to improve current code. It maybe doesn't get it right the first time but you can discuss with it to incrementally improve the returned code snippets.

I've been really impressed by its context memory

It feels like some kind of software Jarvis (minus the quirky personality, that bot's pretty dry)

Exactly I was really testing will follow up questions. What I liked versus some humans is it was 'humble' enough to list its limitations but provide some kinds of reasonable response.

You can probably instruct it to have a more fun personality. Actually I'd be really interested in seeing if it can be funny.

As long as we can keep greedy little monkeys hands off of it there is no limit.

Singularity soon

Speculating is fun but not necessarily productive. We just know this technology will continue to get better for the foreseeable future. We do not know exactly how quickly or how that will manifest, we certainly can’t conclude the singularity is soon.

Okay so I clicked on both links in a cybersecurity isolation browser unit and they both just sent me images.

What's the code?
