I give my tenants plenty of time when they make late payments. I once had a tenant pay me 3 months late. I allowed him because there was briefly a time where my father struggled to make payments on my school fees, I do feel sympathy you know.

To be clear, im not pissed about you being rich, im just pissed about how instead of solving the problem and bringing wealth to all of society (including yourself), you just want to be part of the ruling class. If everything can be fully automated, money has no place in society. Instead of thinking about how you will go from being one of the 99.9% on UBI to the 0.1% who have unimaginable riches, you should think about how we as humans will allow ALL humans to benefit from the unimaginable riches.

If that happens then I would be extremely happy. I would be very much content with that future where everyone is rich and money is useless.

But if shit goes sideways and it's a post apocalyptic thing for poor people, then I'm sorry. I'd like the backup of being rich enough to be a part of that society. Especially considering the fact that it's just gonna get harder to make money after a while.

It depends I think for next couple generation it will just increase our productivity through specific tooling.

I think once we crack true AGI. People will outright be replaced by technology in some roles. I still feel there's a chance development in this research area may plateau but I'm not banking on it.

If we are smart I don't doubt we will hit a certain point where AI development becomes illegal. As we won't be able to handle it.

I believe the threat of revolution will push these companies to throw the peasants a bone sort of speak. Perhaps universal income or perhaps open source Ai systems given to all for use, as an illusion of power. The problem is most people are tok dumb or ignorant to understand this very real issue today. It’s the frog in boiling water analogy, by the time people realize AI’s effect it would be too late
