Arguably you could consider ChatGPT a pretty dumb AGI, since it has been measured to have an IQ of 86. I mean, there's no way you can consider ChatGPT a 'narrow' AI anymore, right?

I... don't know if I'd go that far. At best, ChatGPT is a Thneed – a remarkably convenient tool that can be configured to serve a staggering variety of purposes, but that has no volition of its own. Cool? Yes. Huge societal implications? Probably. AGI? No, not really.
