Not necessarily.

I'm more poking at the people who think it's going to transcend life's problems in itself.

I think it'll just make the void they feel now more obvious because they'll be too smart to ignore it.

I think Wittgenstein had a funny comment about religion, kind of remarking about how enabling life after death doesn't actually solve the problem.
