First time using a DLSR as well. Still trying to figure out the best mix of exposure, iso, and aperture. Gotta start somewhere.

Look for the mirror lock up.settings. this will release the shutter and you won't suffer vibration from pulling and slappingof the mirror. Happy hunting.

If you're not using a remote shutter definitely pick one up.

I can connect via Bluetooth and/or wifi to control it. I'll definitely use that next time.
