They weren’t (there were 6).
We can bounce lasers off retroreflectors left on the surface and the LRO has photographed the landing sites.
Don’t be led down the ”rabbit hole” by bad science, misunderstanding of basic photographic concepts and personal incredulity of others.
>anybody want to chime in?
Sure.
Go to sleep dummy, and stop reading bullshit, promulgated by monumentally and willfully ignorant people, who suffer from both emotional an intellectual disabilities. This is a place for discussion of reality, not delusions.

it would actually cost more money to fake it in 1969, it was cheaper to land a person on moon than to fake
also it would require to keep thousands of NASA employee to keep the secret and hundreds more worldwide(do you really think thousand people would keep the secret if they had to)
also we all know what happened to Apollo 1, why would they fake that and also why would they fake Apollo 13

It isn't fake, NASA has all the schematics of the rocket and they are working machines. They cost way too much to design for a fake moon landing also training those astronaut takes a lot of time too.
It would be cheaper to just go to the moon rather than faking it.
The motive to go to the moon was very clear, the US wanna get ahead of the Soviet and Soviet was leading in the space race by quite a margin until the moon landing. If it was fake, the Soviet would have hammered in on the news and find every bit of infos to prove it's fake.
Get off YT... I can't believe 50 years later, people are still so misunderstood that they choose to think it was faked

As mentioned by someone else, i doubt the Russian would have just gone, yeah, sweet you made. They would have been monitoring the journey too

Sure, why didn't the Soviets say anything if it was?
