If I had a dollar for every time this was asked on this sub.
Probably everything you see posted will have some editing applied and whenever you see the detail like this of course it's because of long exposure. This isn't even an accurate alignment at this time of year! But this alignment is possible, I just wasn't there at the time to capture it. But I did take all the elements that make up this composite.

Yeah now I think of it that’s a stupid question, I kinda meant is it a visible brightness where you can see a normal amount of detail?

No chance. Not this close to the city. Stacking long exposures is the only way to get this level of detail.
