The way I see it, there’s one thing that’s eternal: conscious experience. While we know all life has to end with the universe, I’d rather have lived in a universe full of joy rather than one full of suffering. At the end of the day, the fact that people experienced joy transcends time, so as long as I can make life better for people after me, I’m happy.
