Yeah I did. Three times lol. Want the links? The first had an image attached so it got pulled down "because it's not Sunday" but people still comment on it, second was the same thing just a linked post. The last one was an update linked article to our local news affiliate WHNT Channel 19 here in Huntsville they posted today.

Sorry if that first reply came off crass, it was not intended to be. We need all the attention to it we can get because A. they'll tear it down regardless even if people somehow did raise the $7mill, or B. the tourism dept is going to put up some God-awful statue or meaningless rocketry display to replace it and not hear the citizens opinions or concerns.

It's a nice landmark. I'm thinking they'll replace it with a replica.

Why not take it to a museum or sell it? Taking it to a scrapyard is a sad ending for such a beautiful piece of history!
