McNabb wasn't the problem, it was (forgive me) Andy Reid acting like they were only down by one score at the end of the game when they needed two.

If you went back and watched that game, it would frustrate you after watching modern time/clock management. It's part of why they let him go. His time management was bad and a big reason he wasn't considered as great as he now is.

I’d thought people would pick up on it but it’s /s. Of course McNabb wasn’t the problem.

Sorry, I had just mostly forgot about that game and it came rushing back.

It's crazy how much better Andy's clock management has gotten.

I remember Bill Simmons advocating that he hire an assistant whose sole responsibility would be to manage the clock. The only thing separating Andy from greatness. It is nice to see the improvement.

Yeah I distinctly remember that as well. Do you think he has hired clock management professionals now? I knew a few teams have them.

They said he did a couple of years after coming to KC.

I think that's what makes him a great coach; admit when you're not good at something and let others do it.

I watched but don’t remember as it was so long ago but he did have 3 interceptions, without those Eagles would of had to win. Now idk if they were tipped balls or how they were intercepted but that’s huge.

Was that the game where Mcnabb looked gassed? It’s been a while.
