Yes, that's the way applying peaceful pressure works. Everything about your country is ostracized. It beats the alternative of dropping bombs to force change. I'm sorry you happen to be on the wrong side.

Wow, and I thought all those people harassing Arabs after 9/11 were ignorant and racist. Turns out they were just applying "peaceful pressure"!

Don't be deliberately idiotic. The country of Belarus is an active participant in the Ukrainian war.
If we had acted the way we should have after 9/11, Saudi Arabia should have been isolated and ostracized. Targeting all "Arabs" was indeed ignorant and racist.

Just as harassing *all* Russians (or Belarusians) irrespective of their political stance is ignorant and racist. I am glad that many people in the West are better than this.

Applying "peaceful pressure" on people that don't have an effect on politics is a real non-starter. Sounds like an excuse to disrespect and abuse someone for national identity. As an American that has traveled overseas, a French person would call me and my colleagues "Trumpland" among other things similar to that. At a rugby event in Japan, an Australian guy yelled at me and my girlfriend "Trump sucks" It's not like we are wearing Trump supporter gear but the fact that we are American was cause for us to be verbally abused.
