The purpose of cancelling class the night before, especially knowing that it’s ice, is to allow parents time to make plans.

Exactly, and back growing up we had to wait and watch the morning news to find out if they canceled or not lol

The very best. But I was lucky enough to have a stay-at-home mom… so childcare wasn’t an issue.
