Does anyone know where I can locally purchase a Springfield flag? I see them all around town but haven’t been able to find a place that has them!

It surprised me. It is a custom low volume thing though, and they are a good group to do business with. If it is high enough quality it is probably worth it.

if they're out of stock locally, you can get them from flags for good. I got mine from them and it's a great flag

Just go to the people who insisted we adopt a new flag. Of course they already had a business plan outlined for how to profit on adopting the new likeness

It's not that deep. People like the new design enough to want to own a flag or some apparel of it. Who really cares if the original intent was to profit? The city gets a better looking flag and those who put in the work to make it happen get to profit from those who wish to own the new design. Seems like a win-win for both sides, not this "profiteering con" you seem to be implying.

It’s pretty hard to profiteer off an open sourced design. Don’t be mad because a local company, who gives back to local charities and is owned by local folks, sells stuff with this awesome design to promote our town. At least they’re trying something to make SGF better.
