Not originally. Two of the founding members met at Evangel and then promptly moved to Texas IIRC

True story. Sneak Preview, as they were known at the time, opened for a band I was in back in my hippie musician days.

We were all blown away by (Ty?) the bass player and how incredibly good he was.
